Terms and Conditions of Sale
- Event Quilts is not responsible for a shipment of shirts until it is received.
- Quilts will be insured for the full value for return shipping. If the quilt is lost or damaged during shipping, liability is limited to the original amount.
- Each quilt is closely inspected before shipping. In the unlikely event of a defect, remedy is limited to either fixing the problem, or refunding a percentage of the price proportional to the defect - not to exceed the original price.
- Defects must be reported promptly.
- The forum for any legal action - however remote that possibility - shall be Davidson County, TN; and the laws of the State of Tennessee shall govern disputes.
- In no event shall Event Quilts' liability exceed the price that the buyer paid for the quilt which gives rise to the claim or cause of action.
- Event Quilts will not be liable for delays in performance or for non-performance due to unforeseen circumstances or causes beyond its reasonable control.
- By ordering, you are agreeing to these terms and conditions.
- Normal wear and tear.
- T-shirts on the quilt that bleed when you wash it - this is due to the original condition, usually a newer dark shirt that has not previously been washed often.
- Wear-holes appearing in shirts - this is also due to the original condition of the shirt, how worn out it is from use before I receive it.
- T-shirts that, due to condition, will not square-up or cannot be satisfactorily fixed - but that you still want to include on the quilt.
- Many white t-shirts come to me already "not so white" from wear, again this is an original condition issue.
- Shirts on the quilt fading or getting dingy with use (especially white).
- Misuse.
- Minor variances due to the custom-crafted nature of the quilt.
